Thanksgiving Recap
I survived the Thanksgiving two day celebrations.
We ended up having the Bos family over for dinner on Thursday. All the food turned out okay, and, as always, they were great to have over. We played Agricola (Tim won, the game is under protest), and then played Wii (Tim, Bos Jr, and I) until about 11:30. I fell asleep on the couch while they were playing. Then I stayed up until 1:30am playing after they had left and everyone else went to bed.
Our (across the street psuedo-) neighbor spent the night at Target in order to acquire masses of wonder and amazement for Christmas gifts. Laura went over there at around 4am, and Mr. Neighbor was nice enough to grab a few of the more rare items for Laura. We purchased a few electronic items, and no analog ones (to my knowledge). We may not keep any/all of them, we are debating that. For now we have them, just in case they make good gifts.
Last night we had leftovers and played a game of Power Grid (which is also under protest, since Mrs. Bos won). I need to find new friends and/or new games, since I no longer hold an edge in the games we are playing. An IQ of less than 90 is preferred, or an inability to perform basic maths and/or read.
