Sunday Setlist 3 Jan 2010
Part of the community of Sunday Setlists
Our first service of 2010 worked out pretty well. Nothing new in terms of the service order, though we did have a new vocalist with us.
Here was our team:
- Nick: acoustic, lead vocals
- Laura: vocals
- Jill: vocals (new!)
- Dan: bass
- Linda: acoustic
- Marlene: piano
- Becki: drums
We are still looking for a kazoo player. The KPU (Kazoo Players Union) is keeping all the good kazooists away due to some contractual issues.
Our setlist:
- Glorified – Jared Anderson
- Your Name – Paul Baloche
- Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
- The Solid Rock
- O Praise Him – David Crowder
We used Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus as our offertory and went immediately into The Solid Rock to close out the first set. I thought it went okay, though not quite as good as I’d hoped. I blame myself, the team did a great job with it.
As I already said, we welcomed a new vocalist to the team this week. Jill did a good job her first time up. We’re looking forward to continued growth amongst the team and bring up new people. Jill is only 16 (I think) so we’re hoping for a life long ministry to be kicked off.
